Every Friday 9.30 - 11.30 am Coffee Morning in the Parish Hall, Common Lane. Everyone welcome. Holcroft Grange, Jackson Avenue holds an afternoon tea every second Wednesday of the month.
Every Friday 1.30-2.45 pm Newchurch Toddlers meet every Friday in the Parish Hall, Common Lane. Mums, dads, grandparents, childminders, anyone with children aged 0-4 years are very welcome. Time for play, drinks, snacks, story time, singing and prayer. Refreshments & fun supplied for the cost of £1.
Open Church every second Saturday of the month 2.00 - 4.00 pm The church will be open and all are welcome to come into church for some quiet time. The next Open Church will be Saturday 8th June.
Friday 4th October 7.30 pm Harvest Supper in the Parish Hall, Common Lane, Culcheth. Entrance by ticket only which are £7.
Saturday 5th October 2.00 - 4.00 pm Harvest Extravaganza Lots of fun and activities for young and old, make a scarecrow, throw potatoes into the sack, treasure hunt and others and entrance is free. Refreshments will be available.
Sunday 5th October Harvest Sunday Services: 10.30 am Holy Communion during the services gifts of tinned, dried and packeted goods for Warrington Food Bank will be collected. 6.30 pm The Area Dean, Stephen Grey will lead the choral evensong service.
Friday 11th October 7.30 pm Quiz in the Parish Hall tickets £3 and available from Alan and Jean Wright . Bring your own drinks and refreshments.
Sunday 13th October 3.30 pm Service of Comfort and Hope: As we look to offer greater support for those coping with bereavement this short service (lasting about 40 minutes) is quiet and reflective with readings and prayers offering time for individual reflection and prayer and the opportunity to light a candle. There will also be refreshments served after the service and you are encouraged to stay to share together in the giving and receiving of support and encouragement.
Friday 18th October 7.30 pm The Film Club’s next next film showing in the Parish Hall, Common Lane, will be ‘La La Land’ cert 12A. While navigating their careers in Los Angeles, a pianist and an actress fall in love while attempting to reconcile their aspirations for the future. Aspiring actress serves lattes to movie stars in between auditions and jazz musician Sebastian scrapes by playing cocktail-party gigs in dingy bars.” (Source imdb.com). Saturday 19th October 7.30 pm Classical Guitar/Ukulele Sing Along/ Hand Bell ringers will be performing at the Parish Hall, common Lane. Tickets are £5 and this includes refreshments. Proceeds will be donated to Aintree Critical Care Unit.
